Welcome to “Cow Camp”

Hunting camp includes two comfortable and rustic cabins. There is no electricity, telephone or running water. However, we enjoy the “mountain luxuries” of propane lighting, fresh pumped spring water, and even a solar shower.

We'll do all we can to get you as close as possible to your chosen animal. However, sometimes the shot may be longer than what was originally planned. We will try to get you into your "comfort zone". If we can't, we will pull away and try again, either on the same animal or a different one - whichever you chose. To increase your chances of taking your trophy of a lifetime, we recommend that you come prepared to shoot to 300 yards comfortably. This takes practice and stability, but also a caliber big enough to handle this distance.

During your hunt, if you wound an animal and blood is drawn, that is your animal. Your remaining time may be spent trying to locate that animal, but you will not be allowed to harvest another animal to replace the wounded one. This is at the discretion of the guide and/or outfitter. We always try to get our clients into a range where they feel comfortable, but this situation can happen to any of us. This policy is in place out of respect for the animal, and to keep our herds healthy. Thank you for understanding.

You'll need to provide the proper hunting license for the season and species, weapon, sleeping bag, and personal gear.
